Privacy policy

Superior Formulations Pty Ltd (ABN 81 640 624 200) is a contract manufacturer of sports nutrition products in Pakenham, Victoria. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our project form, we collect:
- your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number
- your company or brand name and website, if you give them
- the details of your project: the products, formats, quantities, timing and budget you tell us about, and any message you write
- files you choose to upload, such as formulas, specifications or label artwork
- whether you would like a mutual NDA, and a record of when you agreed to this policy
- if you followed a link from an advertising or marketing campaign, the campaign tags in that link
Your files and project details are mostly about your business, not about you personally. We treat them as confidential either way.
If you use “Save and finish later”, we keep your answers so far and your email address, so we can send you a link to come back to them.
When you use the site, we and our providers also process technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages, keep the site secure and stop spam. To limit how often one person can submit the form, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to a day, not the address itself.
You don’t have to give us your details, but we can’t respond to an enquiry without a name and email address. You can browse the site without telling us who you are.
How we use it
- to understand your project, reply to you and prepare for our first conversation
- to send you a mutual NDA if you ask for one, and a secure link to share files once it is signed
- to quote, develop and manufacture your product if you go ahead with us
- to keep a record of our dealings with you and meet our legal obligations
- to protect the site and the form from spam and misuse
We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to, and every marketing email we send has a way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is seen by the Superior Formulations team who need it to help you. We also use service providers to run this website and the form. They handle your information on our behalf and only for that purpose:

This means some of your information, such as your name, email address and enquiry details in the emails we send and receive, may be stored or processed outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose providers with strong security and contractual privacy commitments.
If you become a customer, we may share the details needed with others who help us deliver your project, such as testing laboratories, certification programs, packaging and ingredient suppliers, and freight companies. We will also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and the project form doesn’t store anything in your browser. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. We never send the contents of the form to analytics.
To keep spam out of the project form, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks in the background that a person, not an automated program, is sending it. To do this it looks at information about your browser and connection. Cloudflare handles that information under its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Saved, unfinished forms are deleted automatically about 37 days after you save them (30 days, plus a short grace period).
- Enquiries that don’t go ahead are deleted two years after our last contact with you.
- If you become a customer, we keep project records for as long as we work together and for seven years after that, to meet our tax, food safety and product recall obligations.
How we protect it
Your information travels over encrypted connections and is stored with providers that encrypt data at rest. Only staff who need to see enquiries can, and they sign in with two-step verification. Upload and resume links are private to you and expire. No system is completely secure, so if a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the law requires.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will check it’s you and reply within 30 days. If we can’t do what you ask, for example because the law requires us to keep a record, we will tell you why.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the way we handle information changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
